What age groups do you cater to?

ABC Football offers tailored programs for children from 18 months to 8 years old.

ABC Tots: Designed for children from 18 months to 4 years, providing an introduction to football through fun and engaging activities.
Kickstart: Suitable for ages 3 to 6, focusing on developing fundamental skills and building confidence on the field.
ABC Academy: Created for children aged 5 to 8, offering more structured training with the vision to expand further in the future.

Is previous football experience required to join?

No prior football experience is required to join. ABC Football welcomes children of all abilities and ensures every player is supported and encouraged to develop at their own pace.

Where is ABC Football located?

ABC Football is proud to operate across Kirklees and Calderdale, offering a variety of sessions tailored to children of different ages.

ABC Tots: Two weekly sessions are currently available in Brighouse — Sundays at Bailiff Bridge Community Centre (HD6 4DX) and Wednesdays at The Edge Play Gym (HD6 1AT).
Kickstart: Held at Bailiff Bridge Playing Fields (HD6 4ED) during the summer months, with sessions moving indoors to Rastrick High School (HD6 3XB) throughout winter.
ABC Academy: Delivered at Bailiff Bridge Playing Fields (HD6 4ED) in summer and relocated to Lightcliffe Academy (HX3 8TL) for the winter season.
Holiday Camps: Our popular summer holiday camps are hosted at Ryburn United Juniors FC (HX6 4AG).

How do I register my child?

If you are interested in registering for one of our ABC Football programmes, please complete the "Register Your Interest" form available on each programme page.

Do you offer training to boys and girls?

ABC Football is proud to provide an inclusive environment, welcoming both boys and girls to participate in all of our programs.

Is there a trail session before joining?

We welcome you to bring your child for a free trial session in any of our programmes. This allows you to see if ABC Football is the right fit for them. Our priority is ensuring every child gains the most from our sessions — and enjoying themselves is the first step in that journey.

What are membership and training costs?

ABC Tots: £6.25 per session, billed monthly.
Kickstart: £20 sign-on fee (includes a Kickstart football shirt) plus £15 per month, payable to Clifton Rangers Youth Football Club.
ABC Academy: £20 sign-on fee plus £28 per month.

Is training conducted on grass or astro turf?

Sessions are held on both grass and astro turf pitches, giving players the opportunity to develop their skills on different surfaces and experience a variety of playing conditions.

Do players get opportunities to play competitive matches or tournaments?

Players taking part in Kickstart (Year 1) and ABC Academy will have the opportunity to participate in friendly matches throughout the year.

From next season, ABC Academy players will also have the exciting chance to compete in the Junior Premier League.

Do you offer sibling discount?

A sibling discount is available for children enrolled in the same programme. For more information, please contact our team.
